Its share prices closed today (12.11.2025) with significant gains Athens Stock Exchangewith the market surpassing the 2,050 levels, moving on an upward trajectory for the third consecutive session. Out of the high capitalization outperformed the shares of Aegean, Elvalhalcor, Viohalco and Ethniki.
Specifically, the General Price Index of the Athens Stock Exchange closed at 2,053.58 points, marking an increase of 1.44%. The value of transactions amounted to 255.22 million euros, while 44,301,254 shares were traded.
Intra-sessionally it recorded a higher price at 2,055.16 units (+1.52%). During the last three bullish sessions the main stock market index registers total gains of 3.36%.
The large-cap index rose 1.48%, while the mid-cap index gained 0.75%.
Among the high capitalization stocks, the biggest increase was recorded by the shares of Aegean Airlines (+4.64%), Elvalhalcor (+3.64%), Viohalco (+3.05%), Ethniki (+2.71%), GEK TERNA (+2.64%) and Piraeus (+2.27%). Conversely, Optima Bank (-0.51%) and Aktor (-0.22%) shares fell
The largest volume of transactions was presented by Alpha Bank and Eurobank, trading 13,055,929 and 12,124,190 shares, respectively. The highest transaction value was recorded by Alpha Bank with 45.15 million euros and Eurobank with 41.14 million euros.
81 stocks moved up, 29 fell and 13 remained stable. The biggest increase was recorded by the shares: Chaidemenos (+8.39%) and Qualco Group (+7.18%). The largest decline was registered by the shares: Foodlink (-5.11%) and Kyriakoulis (-1.96%).
