A 17 -year record is expected to be recorded this year in the dividend policy of listed companies. The listed on Athens Stock Exchange Companies will share… “gifts”, dividends which will range at higher levels of € 5.4 billion, which is the highest since 2007, before the big financial crisis begins when they were € 5.42 billion. But then there were many more listed companies on the Stock Exchange than the current period.
As all show in 2025, it will evolve into a year -long station for money distributions by the listed companies of the Athens Stock Exchange. So far the regular dividend distributions are just lower than € 5 billion and if we add the banks and OPAP prolements we will be overwhelmed by a historic € 5.4 billion in 2007.
2007 was the last use that Greek systemic banks distributed dividends and took 15 years to return as normal listed companies.
They started distributing a dividend from the profits of 2023, for the first time in 16 years, with an amount of € 875 million. The following year the distribution was overflowed, exceeding € 1.9 billion.
This year the bar has gone higher, as it is estimated that the total distribution of cash and reproduction of equity will be in the € 2.4 billion region.
Banks are expected to distribute cash or with stock markets, which is estimated to reach 650m euros.

Market dividend yield exceeds the yield of 10 -year bonds and is multiplied by the performance of banks’ time deposits. The average dividend market performance is a little higher than 4% while at the highest of the last 25 years in 2008 when it was 6.6%
