With significant profits closed the prices of shares at today’s meeting (12.9.25) Athens Shipownerwith the market moving on an upward trajectory for a third consecutive session, exceeding 2,060 points.
The value of transactions on the Athens Stock Exchange amounted to EUR 220.38 million, with 35,743,795 shares. The General Price Index closed at 2,062.73 points, up 1.10%. The shares of Cyprus, Aktor, Viohalco and OTE were overwhelmed by the high capitalization.
On a weekly basis, the basic stock market closed with a rose 1.96%, while by the beginning of the year it has made a profit of 40.35%. The high capitalization index rose 1.18%, while the middle capitalization index rose 0.24%.
Of the high capitalization shares, the shares of Cyprus (+3.48%), Aktor (+3.09%), Viohalco (+2.58%), OTE (+1.99%), PPC (+1.92%) and Piraeus (+1.81%) were the largest.
On the contrary, the biggest decline was the shares of Sarantis (-1.85%), ELPE (-1.51%) and Optima Bank (-0.61%).
The largest volume of transactions were presented by Eurobank and Alpha Bank with 9,066,837 and 5,986,359 shares, respectively. National with EUR 32.41 million and Eurobank with EUR 29.62 million was the highest value of transactions.
84 shares were up, 27 and 11 remained stable. The shares rose the most: Revoil (+10.79%) and Mill Sarantopoulos (+9.35%).
The biggest decline was recorded by Doppler (-5.97%) and Nakas (-4.60%).
