At slightly lower levels the values of the shares today (25.7.2025) at the last meeting of the week of Stock market Athens, with reduced turnover compared to previous meetings.
The General Index on the Greek Stock Exchange closed at 1,968.72 points, with a marginal decline of 0.08%. Intra-conference recorded lower price at 1,955.35 points (-0.76%) and a higher price at 1,976.98 points (+0.34%). On a weekly basis, the basic stock market declined 0.85%, from the beginning of July, it rose 5.39%, while a total of 33.96%has recorded a total of 33.96%. The value of the transactions amounted to EUR 158.43 million, with 30,829,179 shares.
The high capitalization index declined a marginal decline of 0.09%, while the medium capitalization index rose 0.38%. Of the high capitalization shares, the shares of EYDAP (+3.71%), Bank of Cyprus (+2.45%), AKTOR (+1.16%) and Elvalhalcor (+1.15%) were the largest.
On the other hand, the shares of OPAP (-1.36%), Sarantis (-1.34%), Lamda Development (-1.20%) and Motor Oil (-1.02%) fell the biggest decline.
The largest volume of trading was presented by Eurobank and Alpha Bank with 8,308,885 and 8,154,126 shares, respectively. Eurobank scored the highest value of transactions with € 26.56 million and National with EUR 23.59 million.
56 shares were on the rise, 46 and 20 remained stable. The shares rose to the highest rise: Xyloromy (P) (+20.73%) and Mathios refractory (+8.22%). The biggest decline was recorded by Mermeren (-3.31%) and Vogiatzoglou Systems (-3.31%).
