The prices of the shares In today’s (11.6.2025) meeting of the Athens Stock Exchange, as the initial mild liquidation of profits were absorbed.
The market completed six consecutive upward meetings, during which the basic stock market index records a total of 2.48%. The shares of Greece, PPA, OPAP and Jumbo were overwhelmed by the high capitalization. The General Price Index closed at 1,867.24 points, up 0.62%.
The value of the transactions amounted to EUR 173.78 million, with 31,781,888 shares. The high capitalization index increased by 0.50%, while the mid -capitalization index rose 1.06%.
Of the high capitalization shares, the shares of Greece (+6.99%), PPA (+5.86%), Jumbo (+2.90%), Lamda Development (+2.69%), OPAP (+2.10%) and GEK TERNA (+1.74%) recorded the highest. On the other hand, the biggest decline was the shares of Aktor (-1.61%), Eurobank (-1.22%), OTE (-1.11%) and Titan (-1.11%) and AIA (-0.97%).
Piraeus and Alpha Bank showed the largest volume of trading with 7,567,877 and 5,372,063 shares, respectively. Piraeus scored the highest value of transactions with EUR 42.19 million and National with EUR 20.91 million.
63 shares were on the rise, 46 declining and 18 remained stable. The shares rose the most: Nafpaktos spinning (+29.75%) and Mermeren (+24.16%). The biggest decline was recorded by the shares: caressed (-11.33%) and Frigoglass (-9.74%).
