Marginally downward trends are prevalent today (6.5.2025) at the start of trading to Stock exchange Athens.
The General Price Index has marginal changes around yesterday’s (5.5.2025) of the closing and currently stands at 1,726.94 points with a loss of 0.26%. During the Stock Exchange, it moved marginally between negative and positive territory. Transactions are currently stood at € 12.01 million by 2.96 million pieces of shares that have changed hands.
This image is also reflected in the ratio of the winning – lost, as of the 94 shares that have been moved by 42 so far, 41 declining and 11 remain unchanged against their closure yesterday.
From the sectoral indicators, the high capitalization FTSE fell 0.10% and the mid -capitalization FTSEM fell 0.30%. Sidma metallurgical rose 5.63%, followed by Jirakian with a profit of 3.53%and Minerva Laden with 2.82%.
On the other hand, the most important decline in ELBE’s share is dropped by -3.60%, followed by Nafpaktos textiles with a drop of -2.33%and Centric holdings with -1.84%.
European stock markets
Minor fluctuations have been recorded by European shares today at the start of transactions with investors evaluating a number of corporate financial results and monitoring possible moves on the duties front.
The Pan -European Stoxx 600 index was unchanged at 537.35 points at 10:11 am Greece. The trends in other regional indicators were mixed.
The Pan -European Stoxx 600 index rose 0.30%. The FTSE 100 on the London Stock Exchange moves positively to +0.23%, while DAX in Frankfurt falls 0.30%as does the French CAC 40 by 0.23%. On the other hand, the FTSE MIB in Milan moves positively to +0.30% and with it the Spanish IBEX 35 at +0.30%.
Investors’ attention is focused on whether China-USA commercial tensions will be diverted after China said last week that it is considering Washington’s offer for duty talks.
