The stock prices closed in today’s (18.6.2025) meeting of the Athens Stock Exchange, with the market To finally close above the levels of 1,800 units, although intra -conference had been overturned.
The market completed five consecutive downward sessions during which the basic stock market index records a total loss of 3.50%. The General Price Index closed today at 1,801.93 points, down 0.81%. Intra-conference recorded a higher price at 1,826.11 (+0.52%) and a lower price at 1,787.90 points (-1.58%).
The value of the transactions amounted to EUR 185.75 million, with 35,014,722 shares. The high capitalization index fell 0.71%, while the middle capitalization index fell 0.88%.
Of the high capitalization shares, only the share of Coca Cola HBC (+1.51%) rose. On the other hand, Aegean Airlines (-4.03%), Elvalhalcor (-3.88%), AIA (-2.97%), Greece (-2.91%), Sarantis (-2.67%), Viohalco (-2.48%) and AkTor (-2.48%) declined the biggest decline. (-2.43%).
The largest volume of trading was presented by Alpha Bank and Eurobank with 10,664,743 and 5,094,189 shares, respectively. Alpha Bank with 28.75 million euros and National with EUR 27.17 million was the highest value of transactions.
21 shares were on the rise, 82 declining and 17 remained stable.
The shares rose the most: caressed (+9.92%) and real consulting (+2.98%). The biggest decline was recorded by Frigoglass (-9.09%) and Ave (-6.21%).
