In low tones the transactions were made in today’s (21.8.2025) meeting of Athens Shipownerwith the market being in a “accumulation” phase and moving without limited fluctuations. By high capitalization overhauling the shares of AIA, Aktor and Alpha Bank.
Specifically, the General Price Index of the Athens Stock Exchange closed virtually unchanged at 2,097.07 points, down 0.01%. Intra-conference recorded a higher price at 2,105.39 points (+0.39%) and a lower price at 2,091.07 points (-0.29%). The value of the transactions amounted to EUR 191.02 million, of which EUR 40 million included packages in packages, with 33,863,406 shares.
The high capitalization index declined 0.03%, while the medium capitalization index is up 0.52%.
Of the high capitalization shares, the shares of AIA (+1.60%), Aktor (+1.46%), Alpha Bank (+1.41%) and PPC (+0.83%) were the largest rise.
On the other hand, the biggest decline was the shares of Optima (-2.33%), PPA (-1.82%), Elvalhalcor (-0.95%) and GEK TERNA (-0.87%).
The largest volume of trading was presented by Alpha Bank and Eurobank with 7,194,029 and 5,696,039 shares, respectively. Alpha Bank with € 24.83 million and Nationals with EUR 22.97 million.
71 shares were on the rise, 43 declining and 14 remained stable. The shares rose the highest: Xelbalm (Π) (+14.25%) and three alpha (K) (+9.55%). The biggest decline was recorded by Kekrops (-7.08%) and Credia Bank (-4.34%).
