With a marginal rise closed the market In today’s (24.4.2025) meeting of the Stock Exchange, as the intra -conference fluids were absorbed for short -profit collection.
The market corrected intra -conference after two strong upward movement meetings, during which the main stock market index had recorded a total of 3.79%. The General Price Index closed at 1,705.63 points, with a marginal rise of 0.07%.
Intra-conference recorded lower price at 1,695.09 points (-0.55%) and higher at 1,708.21 points (+0.22%). The value of the transactions amounted to EUR 157.98 million, with 25,758,726 shares. The high capitalization index rose 0.01%, while the middle capitalization index recedes marginally at 0.08%.
Of the high capitalization shares, OTE’s (+2.05%), Sarantis (+2.00%), Lamda Development (+1.52%) and Motor Oil (+1.16%) shares. On the other hand, the biggest decline was the shares of Greece (-2.04%), Metlen Energy & Metals (-1.77%), ELPE (-1.58%) and Jumbo (-1.54%).
The largest volume of trading was presented by Alpha Bank and Piraeus, with 5,796,273 and 5,130,490 shares, respectively. OPAP was the highest value of transactions with EUR 26.31 million and Piraeus with € 25.97 million.
50 shares were up, 51 declining and 19 remained stable. The shares rose the most: MIG (+9.65%) and Space Hellas (+6.06%). The biggest decline was recorded by the shares: Xyloromy (P) (-10.53%) and Attic editions (-8.62%).
