The prices of shares at today’s meeting Athens Stock Exchangewith the market breaking above the 2,070 levels, moving on an upward trajectory for a fourth session. From the high capitalization, the shares of Eurobank of Piraeus and AIA outperformed.
The General Price Index of the Athens Stock Exchange closed today at 2,074.96 points, marking an increase of 1.04%. The value of transactions amounted to 256.84 million euros, while 39,104,081 shares were traded.
Intra-sessionally it recorded a higher price at 2,083.31 units (+1.45%). The main stock market index during the last four bullish sessions registers a total gain of 4.43%.
The large-cap index gained 1.15%, while the mid-cap index gained 0.51%.
Of the high capitalization shares, the biggest increase was recorded by the shares of Eurobank (+3.09%), Piraeus (+3.03%), AIA (+2.81%), Cyprus (+2.50%), ELPE (+2.24%), Titan (+2.12%) and Metlen (+2.11%). On the contrary, the biggest fall was recorded by the shares of OTE (-3.02%), OPAP (-1.52%), Aktor (-0.86%) and EYDAP (-0.86%).
Eurobank and Alpha Bank presented the largest volume of transactions, trading 11,810,580 and 6,342,426 shares, respectively. The highest transaction value was recorded by Eurobank with 41.26 million euros and Metlen with 26.81 million euros.
71 stocks moved up, 41 down and 13 remained stable.
The biggest increase was recorded by the shares: Dromeas (+7.71%) and ADMIE (+4.58%).
The largest decline was registered by the shares: Leventeris(p) (-9.09%) and Xylemporia(p) (-4.35%).
