Today’s (5.11.2025) meeting closed at slightly higher levels Athens Stock Exchangealthough in most trading it moved lower, retesting the 2,000 level.
Specifically, the General Price Index of the Athens Stock Exchange closed at 2,014.47 points, marking a marginal increase of 0.04%. Aktor, Coca Cola HBC and Metlen stocks outperformed large caps.
Intra-sessionally it recorded a lower price at 1,996.54 points (-0.85%) and a higher price at 2,017.16 points (+0.18%). The value of the transactions amounted to 199.57 million euros, while 30,389,222 shares were traded.
The large-cap index edged up 0.02%, while the mid-cap index fell 0.37%.
Of the large-cap stocks, Aktor (+4.18%), Coca Cola HBC (+2.26%), Metlen (+1.20%), Titan (+1.16%) and Motor Oil (+1.07%) recorded the biggest gains. On the contrary, the largest decline was recorded by the shares of Jumbo (-2.15%), EYDAP (-1.76%), Piraeus (-1.79%) and OTE (-1.33%).
Eurobank and Alpha Bank presented the largest volume of transactions, trading 7,871,369 and 4,613,019 shares, respectively. Piraeus with 29.14 million euros and Ethniki with 27.17 million euros recorded the highest transaction value.
55 stocks moved up, 51 down and 21 remained stable. The biggest increase was recorded by the shares: Nakas (+8.24%) and Tria Alpha (k) (+4.32%). The largest decline was recorded by the shares: Progressiveti (-2.98%) and Pairis (-2.50%).
