Specifically, the General Index of the Athens Stock Exchange fell 12.26 points or -0.66%, closing at 1,845.89 points.
From high capitalization, with a positive change in Alpha Bank (+0.07%), Metlen (+0.09%), TitC (+0.62%), ELA (+1.48%), PPC (+0.87%) and Sarantis (+2.15%and closure to new historically high).
With losses greater than one percentage unit, National (-1.37%), Piraeus (-1.35%), Eurobank (-1.85%), AIA (-1.27%), EYDAP (-1.69%), OTE (-1.18%), Helleni Energy (-1.02%), Lamda, Lamda (-1.70%), Jumbo (-2.62%), Cenergy (-2.17%).
Of the lower capitalizations, Frigoglass (+9.66%) and Elinil (+5.38%) were distinguished, among others.
Concern prevails in European markets
Anxious in the climate in today’s (12.6.2025) meeting of European stock markets, with investors being concerned about geopolitical developments in the Middle East, as well as Trump’s new threats to tariffs.
In particular, the Pan -European Stoxx 600 fell 0.33%, reaching 549 points. The German DAX declined by 0.74% to 23,771 points, the French CAC 40 fell 0.14% to 7,765 points, while the FTSE 100 in London managed to record 0.23% to 8,884 points.
The FTSE MIB in Milan lost 0.58%, reaching 39,948 and Ibex 35 in Madrid fell by 0.32% to 14,088.
