The prices of the shares At the closure of today’s meeting (26.5.2025) of the Athens Stock Exchange, with the market It recovers after Friday’s retreat, following the upward movement of European shares.
European stocks are moving positively in the aftermath of the Trump decision to extend the deadline for imposing 50% of EU products by July 9. The market was moving above 1,830 points, and the rise was made with average turnover.
The General Price Index closed at 1,834.56 points, with a profit of 1.79%. The value of the transactions amounted to EUR 127.71 million, with 23,024,937 shares.
The high capitalization index rose 2.15%, while the mid -capitalization index rose 1.70%.
All the shares of high capitalization closed and the biggest rise was recorded by the shares of Viohalco (+3.96%), Aegean Airlines (+3.28%), Elvalhalcor (+3.11%), Alpha Bank (+2.92%), Piraeus (+2,72%) and Metlen Energy & Metals (+2.71%).
The largest volume of trading was presented by Alpha Bank and Eurobank with 5,108,468 and 4,241,042 shares, respectively.
Piraeus scored the highest value of transactions with € 18.88 million and Alpha Bank with € 13.61 million.
93 shares were upward, 15 downstream and 17 remained stable.
The shares rose the most: Doppler (+6.67%) and Ilyda (+6.27%).
The biggest decline was recorded by the shares: Mill Loulis (-4.29%) and Cyprus (-4.00%).
