In an upward orbit for seventh consecutive session today (9.7.2025) the General index Of honor Athens Shipownerclosing in new 15 -year -olds.
Specifically, the General Index of the Athens Stock Exchange closed at 1,962.04 points, up 0.78%. It is the highest closure of the April 16th session (1.95.24 points).
Intra -conference recorded a higher price at 1,971.15 points (+1.25%). The basic stock market index since the beginning of the year has earned 33.53%, the banking index is over 63.20%, while total market capitalization is increased by 28.35 billion euros.
The value of the transactions amounted to EUR 295,228 million, with 55,305,722 shares. The high capitalization index rose 0.86%, while the mid -capitalization index was marginally reinforced by 0.04%.
The market completed seven consecutive upward sessions, during which the basic stock market index records a total of 5.03%.
Of the high capitalization shares, the shares of Optima Bank (+6.59%), PPA (+2.23%), Piraeus (+1.94%), Ethniki (+1.78%), Alpha Bank (+1.53%) and PPC (+1.52%) recorded the highest increase.
On the contrary, the shares of ELPE (-1.02%), AKTOR (-0.92%), Motor Oil (-0.79%) and OPAP (-0.61%) fell the biggest decline. Optima Bank shares negotiated with a new nominal value of € 1.15 from € 3.45 and without the right to free shares with a ratio of 3 new ones for each 1 old. The starting price of the stock was 7.43 euros.
The largest volume of trading was presented by Eurobank and Alpha Bank with 16,106,762 and 12,151,744 shares, respectively. The highest value of transactions was recorded by Nationals with € 50.16 million and Eurobank with € 50.06 million.
61 shares moved up, 43 declining and 21 remained stable. The shares rose the most: CNL Capital (+18.80%) and UNIBIOS (+15.64%). The biggest decline was recorded: Three alpha (-6.90%) and Mathios Pyrimhaha (-5.93%).
