Image of stabilization was presented by the shares In today’s (30.9.25) closure of Athens Shipowner. The main stock market closed in September with a rise of 0.62%, with the market completing 11 months of rise, an unparalleled record for the first time in stock markets.
The value of the Athens Stock Exchange’s transactions amounted to EUR 368.61 million, of which € 149.82 million involved packages, with 80,649,698 shares. Of the high capitalization shares, the shares of PPA (+3.15%), AIA (+2.87%), AKTOR (+2.01%) and Alpha Bank (+1.52%) were the largest rise.
On the other hand, the shares of GEK TERNA (-2.10%), Elvalhalcor (-2.02%), Aegean Airlines (-1.76%) and Cyprus (-1.47%) fell the biggest decline with the General Price Index closing at 2,034.22, with 0.01%down.
Intra-conference recorded lower price at 2,019.82 points (-0.72%) and higher at 2,036.60 points (+0.11%).
The high capitalization index increased by 0.03%, while the middle capitalization index fell 0.32%. During the last 11 months, the basic stock market has recorded a total of 47.12%, while by early 2025 it has rose 38.41%.
The largest volume of transactions were presented by Eurobank and Alpha Bank with 37,993,469 and 23,329,084 shares, respectively. Eurobank scored the highest value of trading with € 124.73 million and Alpha Bank with € 83.65 million. 35 shares were up, 70 and 21 remained stable.
The shares rose the most: Mevaco (+21.90%) and three ‘Alpha (K) (+6.87%).
The biggest decline was recorded by Vogiatzoglou Systems (-10.57%) and Levnderis (P) (-9.84%).
