With mildly falling the values of the shares today (17.8.25) at Athens Stock Exchangedespite the initial upward reaction, at the expense of fluidizations in bank shares. From high capitalization, the shares of Jumbo, Elvalhalcor and Aktor were overwhelmed.
The General Price Index of the Athens Stock Exchange closed at 2,069.74 points, down 0.33%. The value of the transactions amounted to EUR 225.96 million, with 42,925,169 shares. Of the high capitalization shares, the shares of Jumbo (+3.32%), Elvalhalcor (+2.95%), AKTOR (+2.11%) of Sarantis (+1.65%) and OTE (+1.37%) recorded the highest increase.
The high capitalization index fell 0.38%, while the mid -capitalization index was marginally reinforced by 0.04%. Intra-conference recorded a higher price at 2,091.04 points (+0.70%) and a lower price at 2,060.83 points (-0.76%).
On the other hand, the shares of Optima Bank (-2.22%), Ethniki (-1.94%), Cyprus (-1.78%), Eurobank (-1.56%) and Piraeus (-1.51%) fell the biggest decline.
The largest volume of trading was presented by Alpha Bank and Eurobank with 18,932,271 and 6,683,516 shares, respectively. Alpha Bank with 67.30 million euros and Nationals with EUR 35.40 million was the highest value.
60 shares were on the rise, 52 declining and 15 remained stable. The shares rose the most: Attic editions (+6.25%) and Biocarpet (+5.40%).
The biggest decline was recorded by Leventeris (K) (-7.30%) and Plastics of Crete (-5.52%).
