Athens Stock Exchange: Closing with 0.16% rise

With a slight rise, well below the high of the day, the prices of the shares in today (24.7.25) to Athens Stock Exchangein the midst of a mild upward movement of European markets with investors betting on positive developments in the US-EU trade negotiations.

The General Price Index closed at 1,970.24 points, up 0.16%. Intra -conference recorded a higher price at 1,984.77 points (+0.90%). The value of the transactions amounted to € 193.48 million, with 39,238,226 shares.

The high capitalization index rose 0.16%, while the mid -capitalization index was marginally reinforced by 0.02%.

Of the high capitalization shares, the shares of EYDAP (+4.63%), Ethniki (+2., 27%), Cyprus (+0.93%) and Piraeus (+0.86%) were the highest.

On the contrary, Titan (-1.59%), AIA (-1.53%), Elvalhalcor (-1.51%) and OTE (-1.17%) shared the biggest decline.

The largest volume of trading was presented by Alpha Bank and Eurobank with 11,523,084 and 8,662,655 shares, respectively. Alpha Bank recorded the highest value of trading with EUR 37.06 million and National with EUR 34.48 million.

57 shares were on the rise, 46 declining and 23 remained stable. The shares rose the most: Kyriakoulis (+16.50%) and Crete (+15.38%).

The biggest decline was recorded by the shares: Xyloromy (P) (-8.89%) and Attica Bank (-5.78%).
