Mild declining trends prevailed in today’s meeting Stock Exchange Athens, after three upward meetings, with Buy to be maintained above the levels of 900 units.
The shares of Elvalhalcor, Jumbo and Viohalco outperformed the high capitalization, while the securities of PPC, PPA and Alpha Bank were pressed.
The General Price Index closed at 904.10 points, marking a slight decline of 0.30%. Intra-conference, it recorded a lower price at 901.91 points (-0.54%) and a higher price at 907.48 points (+ 0.07%). The value of the transactions amounted to 46.80 million euros, while 22,101,688 shares were traded.
The index of high capitalization decreased by 0.28%, while the index of medium capitalization decreased by 0.20%. Of the high-capitalization stocks, the largest increase was recorded by the shares of Elvalhalcor (+ 3.79%), Jumbo (+ 1.91%) and Viohalco (+ 1.91%).
On the contrary, the biggest drop was recorded by the shares of PPC (-1.92%), PPA (-1.74%), Alpha Bank (-1.61%) and ELPE (-1.18%). Of the sub-indices, the largest increase was recorded by the indices of Personal Products (+ 2.30%) and Raw Materials (+ 2.29%), while the largest losses were recorded by the indices of Utilities (-1.22% ) and oil (-0.81%).
Eurobank and Attica Bank presented the largest trading volume, trading 4,176,974 and 2,956,378 shares, respectively. The highest value of transactions was recorded by PPC with 3.838 million euros and Piraeus with 3.813 million euros. 44 stocks moved higher, 72 declined and 18 remained unchanged.
The biggest increase was recorded by the shares: Agricultural House Spyros + 20.00% and ELVE + 10.00%. The biggest drop was recorded by the shares: Attica Bank -8.43% and Progressive -7.78%.
