Upward trends recorded prices of shares in today’s (1.7.2025) meeting of Athens Shipownerwhich records a new 15 year old. At the heart of investment interest are bank stocks.
Specifically, the General Price Index of the Athens Stock Exchange stands at 1,885.86 points, up 0.96%. The value of transactions is EUR 124.52 million.
The high capitalization index rose 1.07%, while the medium capitalization index is up to 0.17%.
Of the high capitalization shares, the shares of Alpha Bank (+3.61%), Eurobank (+2.30%), Piraeus (+1.97%) and Coca Cola HBC (+1.83%) recorded the highest. On the other hand, the shares of Sarantis (-2.58%), Metlen (-1.43%) and Titan (-0.78%) were the biggest decline.
The largest volume of trading is Alpha Bank and Eurobank with 6,196,429 and 4,191,115 shares, respectively. National with EUR 32.29 million and Alpha Bank with EUR 19.32 million.
52 shares move up, 44 down and 20 remain constant. The shares were the largest rise: Structural Crete (+6.82%) and Kyriakoulis (+6.56%). Mermeren (-5.41%) and Lanakam (-4.63%) are the biggest decline.
Suspension of Intralot’s negotiation
At the request of the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Stock Exchange decided to temporarily suspend the negotiation of Intralot’s shares until the investment public was briefed on business developments in the company.
The company in response to the letter of the Capital Market Commission regarding press reports on a forthcoming transaction concerning a foreign company, informs that it is in the final stage of negotiations and that it will immediately inform the investment public.
