Athens Stock Exchange: A marginal rise for the General Index

With limited fluctuations, shares are moving at the beginning of today’s (16.7.2025) meeting Stock market Athens, in the midst of a mild retreat of European markets, which are preserved for developments in the front of their duties and inflation.

Specifically, the General Index on the Greek Stock Exchange stands at 1,965.82 points, with a marginal rise of 0.24%. The value of the transactions amounts to € 24.95 million. The high capitalization index reports a marginal drop of 0.05%, while the medium capitalization index is up 0.14%.

Of the high capitalization shares, the shares of Motor Oil (+0.79%), Optima (+0.54%) and Jumbo (+0.53%) were recorded.

On the other hand, the shares of Viohalco (-1.09%), Sarantis (-0.87%) and Aegean Airlines (-0.79%) recorded the biggest decline.

37 shares move up, 36 downstream and 19 remain stable.

The shares were the largest rise: Daios Plastics (+9.70%) and Lanakam (K) (+9.40%), while the shares decline: Minerva (-4.76%) and Nakas (-2.00%).

European stock markets

The European shares began in today’s meeting, with investors remaining cautious about developments on the front of trade and duties and their impact on inflation.

The Pan -European Stoxx 600 index fell 0.30% to 543.38 points. The FTSE 100 on the London Stock Exchange is up 0.03%, while the German Dax loses 0.06%and the French CAC 40 0.13%. The FTSE MIB is also rising in Milan with 0.10% and Spanish Ibex 35 with 0.30%.

Technology shares fell 1.4% earlier and automakers fell by 1%.
