Athens Stock Exchange: 4th day of climbing for the General Index – Euro -Markets are also moving, with 9.4% of Orsted

Upward trends recorded prices of shares at the beginning of today’s (23.9.2025) meeting of Stock market Athens, with the market exceeding 2,050 units amidst rising European markets.

The General Price Index stands at 2,056.18 points, up 0.66%. The value of transactions is EUR 14.61 million. The high capitalization index rose 0.70%, while the medium capitalization index is up to 0.44%.

Of the high capitalization shares, the shares of Alpha Bank (+1.08%), Metlen (+1.00%), Piraeus (+0.99%) and AIA (+0.80%) were the largest. On the contrary, the biggest declines were recorded by PPA (-0.46%) and AKTOR (-0.37%).

66 shares move up, 21 declining and 10 remain constant.

Minerva (+6.49%) and Cekrops (+4.74%) were the largest rise, while Pairis (-8.18%) and Nakas (-5.56%) are the highest decline.

European stock markets

European shares rose today at the start of transactions, with wind energy shares reinforced after Orsted.

The Pan -European Stoxx 600 index rose 0.33% to 555.20 points. The FTSE 100 on the London Stock Exchange wins 0.21%, German DAX 0.53%and French CAC 40 0.71%. The FTSE MIB in Milan reports a slight decline of 0.20% while the Spanish IBEX 35 marginal rise 0.05%.

Orsted’s share scored 9.4% after the favorable US court ruling on the work of the Danish company offshore wind farms.
