Easter meals and gifts to hundreds of vulnerable people and families also offered his Sunday Easter the Municipality of Athens through the Reception and Solidarity Center (KYADA).
The “menu” was the traditional lamb with potatoes, salad, cheese, dyed Easter eggs and brioche, and there was a prediction for music and toys in children. This table – “embrace” was set up on the indoor stadium in the Serafio of the Municipality of Athens, at the intersection of Piraeus with Echelidas, with the aim of all vulnerable to spend a few Easter and carefree moments.
“In Athens we are all a family. And we are here in Seraphio and in other structures we give 1,300 Easter meals to our fellow humans who need it. Happy birthday to all and all, “said Athens Mayor Haris Doukas.



Mr Doukas, however, pointed out that this time the people who rushed to the festive table of KYADA are more than other times.


“It has the most people and this shows that inequalities are growing, the problems are more, so the municipality has more responsibility to give more meals, and not only on Easter Sunday, but as a whole, to support our fellow humans the most vulnerable and I think we do so much,” the mayor commented.

From the Municipality of Athens and the Homeless Reception Center we welcome you to the Seraphio where we have the Easter meal for our vulnerable fellow citizens and families. We supported over 3,500 families with food, brioches, eggs and Easter candles, as well as toys for children.
