At a different wavelength of RIS and industry for energy costs

Two “invalid” has given RIS in recent months to its requests industry About who are the appropriate ways to reduce costs energy.

First came the reluctance to give subsidies in the past months, as it was decided for households and small and medium -sized enterprises. The industry asked for it, but it received the answer that no state money would be given for this purpose. Then came the proposal of the industrialists to apply to Greece the so -called Italian model, where bilateral energy procurement contracts (RRA) between industries and RES producers pass through a state agency and thus ensure stable terms and values ​​more easily.

And at this point the ministry is rather negative, as it considers the Italian plan difficult in our country, at least at this stage. It should be noted, however, that priority is now being given to the network of the RES projects intended for bilateral contracts directly to industries to develop more.

The ministry also bets in two more areas to help: One is the storage of energy, where industries are able to invest now that this large investment cycle is opening.

Next, there is the discrepancy, that is, the ability of the energy -intensive industries to be paid to temporarily stop their operation at peak hours. ADMIE is currently planning the new, modernized framework for deprivation with the aim of coming into force soon.
