The President of the Independent Authority, Thanos Papadopoulos, spoke to ERT about the changes and the examination centers that will be two: one in Athens and one in Thessaloniki.
Speaking about the dates of the ASEP competition, he told the “Connections” show that the programming of the exams is for mid -June, pointing out that candidates should know that the system has changed this year. “There is no concept of succeeding anymore, since there is no basis,” he said, noting that successful people will enter a “tank” for the next two years.
“The competition will be done electronically. Candidates will come to two electronically equipped examination centers in Athens (Marousi) and Thessaloniki, having closed electronic appointments as to when they want and can be examined, for the day and time, ”the ASEP president said.
As candidates from all over Greece said they will come despite the distance from the examination centers. “The indications show that they will come. We will be involved in the province in the population proportion of the province. “

As he revealed, there is no basis for candidates by clarifying that those who are graduates of University and TEI and those who have a degree recognized by SAEP can compete. Regarding whether the number of successful candidates have been announced, he said that it is not specific right now: “You go, you give, you are ranked and then come the positions that will be decided on ’26 and ’27.”
In particular, as successful people said, they are called upon to express interest when the positions are announced. The distribution will be based on the order of rankings, specialty, place of preference, special and social criteria (multiple children, people with disabilities, etc.)
Candidates must complete and submit an online application for participation in ASEP, exclusively through its website (www.asep.gr> online services> application) following the instructions provided in the invitation/notice (Annex C). The deadline for submitting applications expires on Wednesday 14 May at 14:00.
