Archbishop’s message for the new school year

“You are our hope that you will do much better than us”says Archbishop Hieronymus in his message to the children for the new school year.

The whole message of the Archbishop:

My dear guys,

Welcome to the school yard this year. With emotion and excitement I see you all as your spiritual father, especially our cheerful firsts, who today heard the school bell to ring and invite them to learning.

Your school, this big family, is sure that it has all the good will and the necessary conditions to provide you with spiritual cultivation. But you are always ready, with a smile and excitement, to keep all these useful supplies that the school will give you and multiply them! So come on, to do your best, to gain knowledge, to open your horizons, to lay solid foundations in your life.

In this endeavor, but also at any other time, you know that Christ and His Church will be with you, an ally throughout your life. You just have to seek their help in faith! Then Christ will show you the way you deserve to follow.

To our philanthropic teachers, your good parents but also to all of you, students and students, I wish from the depths of my heart good and blessed in the new school year. Let us all work together for the good of education, for the most valuable we have, you, our children, who are our hope that you will do much better than us.

May God bless your beginnings and to enlighten you always.

After paternal wishes and love,

O Archbishop of Athens and PASSI GREECE
