Apostolos Siskos continues to impress at the European Championship bathing K23, held in Samorin, Slovakia, with the Greek swimmer adding another medal to his collection.
Making a very powerful last 50ar (and while up to 150m was sixth), Apostolos Siskos took third place in the 200m final. butterfly with 1: 57.23 and secured the bronze medal, as in 4x100m. Mixed team mixed, and of course it was named Thursday (26/6/25) European champion in the 200m. superstar.
The victory of the 200m final. The butterfly was … clear before the race started, with Polish Christof Hmielevsky confirming the forecasts and winning with the excellent 1: 54.91. Second was Italian Andrea Kamoti with 1: 56.94, time that was within the capabilities of the siso (has a record of 1: 56.42 from last year).
It is worth noting that the 2nd day of the races brought a gold and a bronze medal to the “blue-white” mission, a pan-Hellenic record of women and another young men and overall our country is in fourth place in the medal table (2-1-3) and in the third in terms of medals.
