EU biased statements, led by political incentives, on a sensitive issue with legal and technical dimensions, such as maritime limits, do not contribute to regional peace and stability.

Therefore, instead of adopting unfounded legal claims, the EU should invite all its members to respect international law.

Turkey will continue to defend its legal rights and interests in the Eastern Mediterranean in the context of international law.
