PASOK president met with the Panhellenic Federation of Political Pensioners

The president of the PASOK-Maching of Political Pensioners met with the Panhellenic Federation of Political Pensioners earlier today at noon, Nikos Androulakis, at the offices of the party of the Party in Parliament and pledged to satisfy their demands for reinforcement of pensions.

“We know very well that the New Democracy government – and personally the prime minister – cheated you on both the retrospective and the law of Katrougalou, who promised to abolish him but eventually applied him to the antenna,” Mr. Androulakis said and reiterated PASOK’s commitments to support retirees.

“We are committed to abolishing personal differences and positive interventions in widow’s and disability pensions. We are also committed to a new EKAS for 350,000 low -income pensioners, our weakest fellow humans. And, of course, the gradual reduction in the solidarity levy – we start with 20% – because it has become a mechanism that does not allow for increases in pensioners, “he added.

“We will do what our program is saying and we will not imitate the treatment and contempt shown by the prime minister towards you, fooling you in both 2019 and 2023”, The PASOK-KINAL president ended.

The meeting was attended by PASOK’s Labor and Social Security Officer Pavlos Christidis, Social Insurance Secretary George Koutroumanis, Secretary of the Network of Persons with Disabilities & Chronic Rare Diseases, Vassilis Koulouris Director of the KO, Yiannis Koutsoukos and PASOK Change Press Spokesman, Costas Tsoukalas.
