“Some of the most glorious pages of modern Greek history were written in the mountains of Pindos”
“To fight for a Greece with a strong foreign policy and a deterrent force to get in the way of Turkey’s revisionist plans.
For a strong, productive, competitive economy that will create jobs for all Greeks. But let’s say a big “No” to corruption, injustice, impunity”, is the message sent by the president of PASOK-Movement for Change, Nikos Androulakis, after the completion of the parade in Thessaloniki.
The entire statement of Mr. Androulakis is as follows:
“October 28th is a day of remembrance and national pride for all Greeks.
Some of the most glorious pages of modern Greek history were written in the mountains of Pindos. Our heroes fought with self-sacrifice proving in practice what our people can achieve when they fight united.
After all, it is written in our collective memory the magnitude of the disasters that we can suffer, when discord and intolerance prevail.
As a generation, however, we also have a great debt:
To fight for a Greece with a strong foreign policy and a deterrent force to stand in the way of Turkey’s revisionist plans.
For a strong, productive, competitive economy that will create jobs for all Greeks. But also to say a big “No” to corruption, injustice, impunity.
These actions prove in practice the respect for those who fought for a free Greece, but also open up avenues of hope and optimism for all Greek women and all Greeks.
Happy birthday”.
