Anavyssos: He saw Charos … With his eyes – sea turtle attacked a bat – almost to amputate it!

An extremely rare and serious incident occurred on Sunday afternoon (3/8) on Anavyssos beach, causing immediate mobilization of the rescue team Safer Life Greece.

A woman who enjoyed her bathroom was suddenly attacked by a turtle. The attack was so severe that it caused a very serious injury to her leg, reaching the bounds of the amputation of her little finger.

Rescuers from the volunteer group rushed to the scene, provided first aid to the unfortunate woman and considered her immediate transfer to a on -call hospital to undergo surgery to repair the trauma.

But the incident did not stop there. During the help of help, two more people, a woman and a child, approached the rescuers, carrying superficial wounds from the same sea turtle, fortunately without any serious risk.

The Safer Life Greece team, after wishing a rapid recovery to the woman, draws the attention of all bathers, recalling that although the sea belongs to everyone, we must show the necessary respect and attention to the creatures that live in it. In any case of injury, citizens are called upon to seek help in 166 immediately.
