According to the announcement: “Reggeborgh Invest BV (hereinafter” Reggeborgh “) announces that it has sold / transferred all its participation to Alpha Services & Holdings SA (hereinafter ‘Alpha Bank’) to three investment banks.
Reggeborgh’s participation in Alpha Bank began in 2021, through its participation in Alpha Bank’s share capital increase of € 0.8 billion. The participation rate increased further to about 9.75%, indicating strong confidence in the Greek economy, the banking industry and in particular in Alpha Bank.
The transaction between Reggeborgh and the three investment banks is expected to be cleared on 30 May 2025. The transaction is not subject to supervisory approvals, while Reggeborgh will inform the Securities and Exchange Commission upon completion of the process.
In addition, Reggeborgh has informed the Governor of the Bank of Greece about its decision to sell / transfer its participation to Alpha Bank.
