Alexis Tsipras Institute: With the participation of Bernie Sanders the 2nd International Conference

To Democracy and Social justice This year’s 2nd International Conference of the Institute Alexis Tsipras, will be held on June 10 in Nikos Skalkota Hall Athens Concert Hall. Participants will be, among other things, the Democratic Senator Bernie Sanders, The co -chair of German Die Linke Ines the former prime minister of Italy Enrico and the co -founder of the French People’s Front François Rufin.

According to the organizers, the conference is done with the wars in Ukraine and Palestine to escalate, the re -election of Donald Trump, The militarization of European policy, the definition of “just the powerful” as a reference point of international relations, the establishment of major economic interests in executive power and the strengthening of authoritarian regimes have led to the further strengthening and coordination of the far -right in the two sides of the Atlantic.

The Conference is dedicated to the development of a democracy and social justice movement on both sides of the Atlantic “based on progressive policies for the shielding of democracy, the treatment of inequalities, the global and regional peace and the protection of new social rights”.

The former prime minister will give a speech at the end of the Conference.
