It’s ‘something like GPS in the health system, comes to guide us’
The Deputy Minister Health Irene Agapidakis talked to ERTnews’s “Connections” show about him personal physician stressing that, “by the end of June we will have covered the whole population”, as additional doctors will be added to the system.
He clarified that the personal doctor is “something like the GPS in the health system, he comes to guide us”.
Ms. Agapidakis said that for the personal doctor, citizens come in and register and stressed that they will be able to change by June 31 as new doctors are added to the system.
At the same time, regarding the preventive exams, he stressed that there are 1,200 affiliated centers across the country and added that “if the referral expires, it is coming new”.
