The proposal to set 28 -year -old lawyer Myrto Korovesis as Vice -President was submitted to the Council of the Republic of the Republic by Stefanos Kasselakis, in the context of the inter -party procedures provided for by the Articles of Association.
It is recalled that the movement maintains two positions of Vice -Presidents, which reflect the political intention of renewing and reinforcing its institutional presence. In May, Theodora Tzakri was elected vice -president.
Myrto Korovesis, born in 1997, is a lawyer, a graduate of the Law School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He holds a master’s degree in Piraeus University Law and Communications Law and Technologies, and has been certified as Data Protection Officer (DPO).
She maintains a law firm, on labor and civil law, as well as personal data protection cases. Her interest in the broadcast of law and technology has led her to submit a doctoral thesis in collaboration with the Medical and Law School of the University of Athens.
Its political course involves an active presence in local government and European structures. He has been elected Regional Advisor of Attica and serves as Vice President of the Committee on Sport and Education. In addition, he participates in the European Council of Young Elected Politics, and has been a candidate in both European elections and national elections.
He speaks English and French, and has been distinguished in United Nations meetings, where he represented the country in a series of international events.
Myrtos Korovesis’s presence is regarded by party sources as a “message of renewal and technocratic aid” in a critical political context. The final decision to appoint Vice -Presidents is expected to be validated by the competent bodies of the movement in the near future.
