The solitude of the top in the Handball Premier has been enjoyed since Monday evening (10/11/2025) by AEKwhich prevailed at home Olympiakou with 28-27 for the 8th game of the championship.
AEK was the big winner of the top derby at “Giorgos Kasimatis”. Union prevailed over Olympiakos 28-27, having the lead for most of the match.
Ivić scored eight goals for AEK, while for Olympiakos, Baros dominated with nine goals.
The game was a derby from the first minutes, however the Union dominated the second half and cruised to victory. In the 52nd minute, AEK took a four-goal lead for the first time in the game, with Olympiacos making up the difference in the final.
