AEK does not discuss it – Only with foreign elite or A’ class referees the Greek Cup matches

There were quite a few reports on Tuesday (10.12.2024) that reported that the head referee, Stéphane Lanois, was considering appointing Greeks referees in the first quarter-final between AEK and PAOK

According to the yellow and black report, the specific reports about Greek referees ahead of the games with PAOK in the Greek Cup, did not… sound good at all to the “ears” of the people of AEK.

In the Union they emphasize that from the beginning they have made it clear – and repeated to the EPO even after its qualification to the quarter-finals – that it considers the presence of foreign referees, elite or A’ Category, imperative in all Cup matches.
