ADMIE: Full support of regulatory authorities of Greece and Cyprus in the implementation of Great Sea Interconnector

Their support in her work electrical interface Greece – Cyprus – Great Sea Interconnector, expressed regulatory authorities (RAAE) and Cyprus (RAEK) during today’s meeting (20.3.2025) with its administration ADME.

In particular, as stated by ADMIE’s side, regarding the electrical interface:

• The debate was particularly constructive between the three sides on the project, which was highlighted is of strategic importance to all countries involved and the EU.
• The two regulators asked to be fully informed of its evolution while
• They confirmed to the Administrator their support for the implementation of the interconnection, which is also reflected in Support Letters who sent the European Commission to re -inclusion the project in the 2nd Union List of PCI and PCI/PCI.

It is noted that the regular review of the works of the 2nd Union List of Common and Mutual Interest was carried out today in Brussels by the Regional Groups for the 5th Meeting of Ten-E Regional Group on Electricity and Offshore.
