ADMIE-DEDDIE: In what areas is there room for photovoltaics on rural land

In a new announcement on the margin of photovoltaic power stations in rural land by region the HEDNO and ADME.

It is noted that the relevant table announced by DEDDIE and ADMIE concerns the photovoltaic with power of up to 1 megawatt. In regional units where the maximum power limit is covered, the administrators cease to consider new applications for a definitive connection offer.

They also reject the pending applications for a definitive connection offer for installation of photovoltaic stations ≤ 1 MW on a high -productivity farmland in the areas in question as well as applications for which unable connection has been granted and interesting to maintain a pending application.

They still consider pending or new common requests or independent applications relating to these Regional Units, provided that the stations that make up these requests are installed on stadiums/parcels that have not been designated as a high -productivity agricultural land or are excluded by law.

The new table shows that there is hardly any margin in Attica, with just 58 MW on the islands and 44 MW in West Attica.

There are also room for Epirus, with 18 MW in Thesprotia and 23 MW in Preveza.

On the other hand, hundreds of megawatts exist in areas such as Macedonia-Thrace, D. Greece, Thessaly, Central Macedonia, Crete and the Peloponnese.
