The transplant took place on September 25th and Polonara woke up today, November 4th, to find his wife waiting for him and giving him strength to continue the fight.
During this time, everyone respected the wishes of his family, so that nothing “comes out”.
“It was a disaster, Achilles fell into a coma,” his wife revealed in a report on an Italian show. “He suffered a clot and the brain was left without oxygen, the chances of survival were very low”, he emphasized.
