In full productive function, the new digital application of the Independent Public Revenue Authority (AADE) for electronic submission is set on Friday (1.8.2025) declaration fluid Customs entry and exit of the country.
The application will be available in all customs and the 42 entry – exit points of the territory (land border, international airports and ports), definitively replacing the previous handwritten process. At these points there will be a PC available to submit the relevant statement, for which the assistance of customs officials can be requested in the subsidiary.
By activating the digital process:
- The process of entry and exit travelers from and from third countries are significantly facilitated, which carry legally available available.
- Electronic registration, monitoring, correlation and cross -checking electronic registration, monitoring, correlation and cross -check, thereby enhancing the effectiveness of customs audits.
In particular, digitizing the process:
- allows timely intervention and more efficient targeting of checks
- ensures the transparency and integrity of customs audits
- It upgrades the role of customs services in the fight against money laundering, as well as funding terrorism or other illegal actions.
It should be noted that about 5,000 cash statements are submitted in our country annually. Specifically, in the year 2024, 4,866 statements were made.
