The criminal organization, which was active in the illegal trafficking migrant by Turkey In Greece, through Kos, Coast Guard officers dislocated in collaboration with EYP executives.
For the circuit that brought illegal immigrants from Turkey to Greece, a police operation was organized and arrested in Salamis – while researching both at home and in the operation he maintained – one of the two leaders of the organization. It is a 44 -year -old man of Georgian descent who, after his apology to the investigator, was found to be in custody.
For the other leadership of the organization, Turkish nationality, it has been issued by the Kos Prosecutor’s Office of arrest and is being sought.
The beginning of the end for the criminal organization
In the context of a case investigation by 74 immigrants found in a yacht in Kos, a 25 -year -old man was arrested as a trafficker and, as it emerged, is a member of a criminal organization and has a role in the boat, which transports immigrants from Turkey’s coasts to the Greek islands.
Information was utilized and two arrest warrants were issued by the Kos Public Prosecutor’s Office for the two leaders of the circuit. They are alleged to run, operationally structured criminal organization with constant action, with the aim of transporting third -country nationals who are not entitled to enter Greece from Turkey’s coasts to the Greek territory. The organization consists of at least 12 other people in Turkey.
The role of the two leaders was to coordinate and organize the transport of third -country nationals, finding floats in Greece, which they bought and transported to Turkey, to successfully make illegal transport. In addition, they used vehicles and boats, with drivers and operators other members of the organization. Finally, they provided accommodation to Turkey to the transferred until they traveled to Greece.
