Expected on Tuesday morning (8/4) the volcano Cannon in the central Philippines Touring a cloud of ash reaching a height of about 4,000 meters, the seismological service said.
Following the explosion of the volcano, the Philippines Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) stated that Alarm level 3 remained in force above Mount Cenlaon.
Level 3, on a scale of 5, means that there is an increased risk of lava flows and a possibility of dangerous explosion within weeks.
Mount Kanlaon, an active volcano that spreads in the central provinces of Negros Occidental and Negros Oriental of Southeast Asia, is one of the 20 active volcanoes in the Philippines.
The director of the Phivolcs Teresito Bacolcol told DWPM radio that there is a possibility that the alarm level will be increased or decreased in the coming days, depending on how quickly the magma is rising to the surface.

A faster climb could cause a more intense explosion, causing a escalation at alarm level 4, while a deceleration or pause in the movement of the magma can lead to a degradation at the alarm level 2.
