Disruption prevailed since Saturday morning (5/4/25) in Pagrati Grove as unknowns were given seven large -scale dogs who are frightened by the animals of the area to be unable to approach them.

“We are here all those who take out our dogs in the Pagrati Grove. On the day of World Stray Animal Day (April 4), someone smartly came and gave up seven large dogs in the grove. Dogs are fully scared. The municipality is not responding, we have called all the animal welfare, no one wants to do anything, “says George Amiranasville, a resident of the area who takes his dog in the Pagrati Grove.

Dogs, he says, are like a half -Rottweiler. In addition, he adds, it is phobic and there is a chance that they will become aggressively if one approaches them without training or familiarity.

Residents have informed the Municipality of Athens, the Region of Attica and Animal Organizations, as well as ELAS.

The competent authorities, in cooperation with the Greek Police, decided not to be visited by the Grove area until the Dog Removing Company was completed.
