Pre -election rally in Greece in view of parliamentary elections that will be held at Albania On May 11, the Prime Minister of the neighboring country and leader of the Socialist Party held, Edi Rama.

The day after Chania, Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama spoke at an event held in the “Antigoni” hall at the “Hellenic World” Cultural Center on Piraeus Street, Athens.

Edi Rama arrived at 5:30 in the afternoon (30.03.2025) and was welcomed with songs, dances and fans waving proud Albanian flags.

The presence of flags of the European Union, one of which was placed by the organizers at the back of the amphitheater, was noticeable.

It should be noted that in the May 11 parliamentary elections, Edi Rama’s great opponent will be Sali Berisha, who is again the leader of the Democratic Party since 2022 (after the period 1990 – 2013).

Berisha served as president of Albania from 1992 to 1997 and prime minister from 2005 to 2013.
