Many hundreds of Turkish immigrants have been demonstrated today (30.03.2025) at Berlinexpressing their support in Imamoglou. Constantinople mayor and a key political opponent of Recep Tayyip Erdogan was arrested, sparking a wave of reactions in Turkey.

“With the Erdogan government, Turkey is heading in the wrong direction. We want democracy, a rule of law and a return to the classroom, “said Muharrem Dogan, 75, a retired merchant who has been living in Germany since 1971.

The protest movement that began in Turkey on March 19 is the largest after that of Guez in 2013.
