Rally for tragedy in Tempitook place on Sunday (30.03.2025) at Kateriniin the presence of relatives of victims.
With the participation of 16 relatives of the victims and at the initiative of the Volunteer Action Team of Pieria, a rally for the Railway Tragedy of Tempi was held at Freedom of Katerini.
Nikos Plakias, who lost his daughters and his niece, and Alma Lata, Claudia’s mother, in their speeches asked, among other things, to continue to be with the families and reiterated their request for justice.
At the event, the presentation and organization of the Network “T57 – City Network” was held, aimed at supporting the families of the victims of the railway tragedy.
The aim of the network is to mobilize the citizens, for their continued and dynamic presence outside the Larissa courthouse at every meeting of the trial when it begins.
As members of the Volunteer Action Team of N. Pieria noted, according to olympiobima.gr, “society is watching with anger the unprecedented attempt to conceal the crime of Tempi.
The violation of laws, the devaluation of citizens’ intelligence and the risk of limitation are not just institutional deviations, it is a brutal challenge to democracy and justice … The answer is one: self -organization and constant claim, to the end. “
