THE Franji Piero again made the difference for Haiti, bringing his team a breather from its final phase World Cup.
With golden scorer Franji Piero, Haiti beat Costa Rica 1-0 for the World Cup qualifiers in the North, Central America and Caribbean zone.
The AEK forward scored the winning goal in the 44th minute, bringing his team closer to qualifying for the final stage of the World Cup.
At the moment, Honduras and Haiti are tied with eight points, followed by Costa Rica in 3rd place with six and in the last of the third group, Nicaragua with 4.
The first teams of the three groups advance to the World Cup, while the two best runners-up advance to the playoffs.
