Ichmes Karahalios against Kammenos: “Everything was overturned with his involvement in the Tempi case – He overturned the collusion of Karystianou – Kovesi”

THE Nikos Karachaliosformer communications advisor to Costas Karamanlis and Antonis Samaras, ignited a new round of debates surrounding the Tempi case, leaving clear points against Panos Kammenos. Speaking on “Vergina TV”, he accused the former defense minister of a “tendency towards mythology”, noting that this tendency can be “pleasant” in a social setting, but when introduced into politics it “throws things up in the air – and not just trains.” According to him, the involvement of Kammenos in the case “completely overturned the balance”, changing the climate surrounding the developments.

THE Mr. Karahalios argued that the intervention of Kammenos also affected the attitude of Maria Karystianou, who began – as she said – to treat KYMA “not as a force that will help her, but as a wave that will drown her”. At the same time, he said that Karystianou “directed her arrows” at Laura Kovesi and at him, despite the fact that he had supported the planning of her movements. Characterize the “strange dipole” state, explaining that until the appearance of Kammenos, Karystianou and Kovesi were moving “on the same line” demanding justice. According to him, the involvement of the former minister overturned this collusion, leading Karystianou to a confrontation with Kovesi.

Karahalios’ statements came shortly after the interview of Panos Kammenos, who dropped hints against Antonis Samaras and did not rule out the political reappearance of ANEL. Kammenos blamed the former prime minister that he “tries to neutralize any force to the right of the ND”speaking of a “fierce attack” on Karystianou and claiming that “certain interests are using Samaras” to influence the government or emerging political movements.

A poll was even invoked, according to which Karystianou appeared with “three times the percentages” of Samaras, claiming that immediately after the publication of the measurement, there followed “three interviews” of Karahalios on the same channel as the former prime minister, with the aim – as he said – “to turn against a mother who lost her child”.
