A match that needed terrible and special management, was “painted” red and white. THE Olympic was absolutely dominant against Zalgiris Kaunas, “pressed” her in the SEF with 95-78 and “knocked” it off the “penthouse” of the Euroleague standings, reaching second place (7-3 record).
Olympiacos has pace in defense and attack, created big differences in their favor and did not rest at almost any point of the match, apart from the finale where everything was decided. Dorsey and Milutinov… took him by the hand, for one more match. In addition, Barzokas’ team was asked to manage the psychological “blow” they received from the loss of Keenan Evanswho limped off to the locker room, having suffered a ruptured Achilles tendon.
SEF apotheosized but then “froze” with Evans
It was the moment that Olympiakos friends who went to SEF on Wednesday night (12.11.2025) were waiting for. Keenan Evans returned to a Euroleague game, was deified, heard his name called, but then shocked everyone.
After 2:01” on the floor in the 1st period, in just his first Euroleague match with the Olympiacos jersey and his first participation in the competition since April 11, 2024 when he was a player of today’s rival Piraeus, Evans appeared to be in a lot of pain, without stepping on an opponent’s foot. Evans came off the floor supported by Alec Petes and Moses Wright.
He left in a huff, unable to believe his misfortune. The American’s injury seemed serious at first, with him saying “no way, no way” as he made his way to the locker room. The diagnosis, a few hours later, confirmed everyone’s fears… Achilles tendon rupture in his left leg.

This is the second time Evans has dealt with a ruptured Achilles tendon. The first time he suffered a rupture of the right Achilles tendon was on January 5, 2023, when he was playing for Zalgiris Kaunas. On May 26, 2024, Evans suffered a ruptured patellar tendon of the then Zalgiris player.

The great Dorsey and the terrible Milutinov
With “maestro” Tyler Dorsey (30 points with 5/9 three-pointers) and Nikola Milutinov scoring 16 points and collecting 8 rebounds, Olympiacos maintained a double-digit difference for most of the game, offering a spectacle in attack and showing effectiveness in defense.
Dorsey was nearly flawless in the first quarter after making his first five baskets. The Greek international is having a sensational season and wanted another three points to break his personal record. He finished the game with 30 points on 6/9 2-pointers, 5/9 3-pointers, 3/5 field goals, two rebounds, one assist, five earned fouls and 26 points in 26:39, all without a foul.

At the same time, Nikola Milutinov looks to be the top center right now in the Euroleague. The Serb… scared the opponent, “talked” mainly in the 3rd period and had a total of 16 points (5/6 two-pointers, 6/7 shots), 8 rebounds and 4 assists.
Piraeus got significant support both from Sasha Vezenkov (14 points and 8 rebounds), and from Thomas Walkup (9 points, 4 assists and many defenses in Francisco). Evan Fournier remained at 5 points with 1/2 three-pointers.
Zalgiris missed the three-pointer and the rebounds
Apart from Olympiakos and in the shocking moment of Keenan Evans’ injury, the third part of the “equation” of the match in SEF, Zalgiris, got… a low point.
The Lithuanians got 15 points from Sylvain Francisco, 13 from the former “red and white” Moses Wright and 12 from Davidas Sirvidis. Only in offensive rebounds, with 25 against Olympiakos’ 11, did the team of Tomas Matsioulis excel, who finished the match with 6/33 three-pointers.
With such a statistic from the three-pointer… you just come back with a heavy “home” defeat. Or better yet, you go to play Dubai BC away to finish off your “devil’s week”.
