“Not even… Fidel Castro had given a two-hour interview on the Cuban television channel”
Kontra Channel’s main newscast hosted the president of the Independent Greeks and former Minister of National Defense, Panos Kammenos.
Referring to the possibility of his return to politics, he clarified how “we will only come back if there is a national issue”pointing out at the same time that he “doesn’t miss” politics.
He then focused on the country’s energy strategy, arguing that “Greece has a great opportunity to align its energy policy with that of the US and Trump, making it the energy center of the region.”
As he characteristically said, “they supported a finished leader like Biden and, even if a backflip happened, it’s positive. The green agenda, the woke agenda and open borders are over.”
Mr. Kammenos did not fail to turn against Antonis Samaras, saying that “he may be right about the blue PASOK, but he was the one who extended a hand of friendship to PASOK”while adding that the former prime minister is “the political version of the oldest profession in the world”.
“The oldest profession in the world also has a political version and is called Antonis Samaras. Samaras co-ruled with Venizelos and washed away George Papandreou”, he continued, concluding with a sharp reference to the duration of the former prime minister’s recent interviewsaying that “not even … Fidel Castro on the Cuban television channel had given a two-hour interview”.
